Wendy Davis is a graduate from the University of Texas Medical Branch - Galveston, TX and University of Texas at Tyler where she earned a B.S. in Clinical Laboratory Science. She has experience as a clinical laboratory scientist with a focus in microbiology and is proficient in using standardized laboratory techniques, trouble-shooting, data analysis, and has 10 years of experience working the bench and 2 years as a supervisor.

Not only do her skills include plating specimens, preparation and interpretation of stains, and molecular testing, she is trained to handle policies and procedures, inventory, CAP compliance requirements, and quality control.

Wendy joined Advanta Genetics in 2023 where she is the Director of Microbiology.
