| Preferred Specimen | 2 ML Serum. Allow Sst to Clot in An Upright Position for at least 30 Minutes, Then Centrifuge Sample Within 2 hours of Collection. Transfer Serum to a Plastic Transport Tube. Freeze. fasting Sample is Recommended. Note: with Diurnal Variation, It is Recommended That Samples be Collected at a Consistent Time of Day. Morning Samples Taken Between 7:30 Am and 12:00 Pm are Advised. When Multiple Tests are Ordered, Submit Separate Tube for this Test. |
